More non-adventure!

The exclamation point in the title is to imply excitement, thereby disguising the non-adventure as a form of adventure.

Please don't permanently stop reading my blog just because of the temporary and unintentional hiatus ("hiatus" is an annoying word to say, but I like writing it because it reminds me of "haiku". So hopefully you're not reading out-loud) from adventures. And don't skip Sunday (Lamma Island!)

Another list of stuff I learned (because there's no other theme to tie the day together):
  • I really should spend the extra dollar or two so I can stop removing mildly damp clothes from the dryer
  • I can't recognize my Chinese name when it's not in my handwriting
  • as a child a sorceress cursed me and now I'm destined to choose the least functional marker when writing on the whiteboard
  • the renovations snazzified (made snazzy) the Park 'N' Shop
  • the Americans from last year left decorations for our International Day booth. We now have a crudely drawn flag, patriotic plastic twisty things (like you'd hang from a porch) and an Uncle Sam figurine.
  • and while fencing: how to flèche properly
  • but I'd still rather not
