SUSHI

I wrote "sushi" all in caps because if fairytale giants ate sushi instead of human flesh, tonight's sushi would have been made for them. We must have eaten at the sushi place my Lingnan friend from last spring told me about. Actually, I'd completely forgotten about it until today, so it's a good thing class finished early and I ran into friends who were going there. Otherwise--guaranteed--days after returning from Hong Kong I would have suddenly remembered the fist-sized sushi I never saw.

I wish I'd brought my camera. I should start toting it everywhere...but then I might lose it, and I'd rather have an un-lost camera than photographs of over-sized sushi. I ate two hand rolls (one salmon and one unagi) and a couple of California rolls. Really, I didn't need the second California roll, but they were so sparkly (from being rolled in fish eggs) and delicious...

Everyone felt too full for pineapple buns, so that'll be another day.

In other news:
  • My Secret Angel may have forgotten me
  • I successfully separated the souvenir chopsticks
  • We did not discuss medieval torture in Economics of the Law
